All Will Be Well

Lord, surely you see
the toil of your children
who suffer under the weight
of a world that chooses
to surrender to darkness.

May the wearisome worries and cares
of your people
be carried by your mighty hands
so that compassion would adorn
the hearts and minds of the saints.

Render hearts humble
that are prone to pride.
Like a shield borne out of sacred suffering,
may your servants stay surrendered,
even unto death.

You say, blessed are
the pure in heart,
for they shall see you.
And when they do,
all will be made well.

May it be so.
